Buganda Kingdom and BMRI Forge Strategic Partnership to Advance Healthcare
Kampala, Uganda – February 7th 2023. In a landmark event aimed at bolstering healthcare services and medical research in the Buganda Kingdom, the Buladde Medical Research Center (BMRI) has formalized a strategic partnership with the Buganda Kingdom through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The ceremony, held at the Buganda Kingdom headquarters, brought together key stakeholders from both the Kingdom and the joint venture comprising Landsat ICT Solutions, ArmCare Uganda, and Medical and Molecular Laboratories.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced by the presence of the Katikiro (Prime Minister) of Buganda Kingdom, the Minister for Health of Buganda Kingdom, and representatives from the three partnering companies. This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing healthcare delivery and advancing medical research within the region.
The Buganda Kingdom, known for its rich cultural heritage and commitment to the welfare of its people, has consistently sought innovative ways to improve the quality of life for its citizens. This partnership with BMRI is expected to leverage the expertise and resources of Landsat ICT Solutions, ArmCare Uganda, and Medical and Molecular Laboratories to address critical healthcare challenges and promote sustainable health solutions.
In his remarks, the Katikiro emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “This partnership is a testament to our commitment to improving the health and well-being of our people. By working together with BMRI, we are confident that we can achieve significant advancements in healthcare delivery and medical research.”
