Landsat ICT Solutions is proud to be among the selected host institutions participating in Uganda’s National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP), an initiative by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development aimed at promoting youth employment, enhancing labour productivity, and strengthening workplace readiness through structured skills development and workplace placements.
As part of the programme, Landsat participated in the Orientation Workshop for Workplace Supervisors held on 26th June 2026 at Fairway Boutique Hotel, Kampala, where host institutions were equipped with the knowledge and tools required to effectively mentor and supervise graduate volunteers and apprentices.
At Landsat, we believe that developing technology is only one part of our mission. Equally important is investing in people. By opening our doors to young professionals, we are providing them with opportunities to gain practical experience, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop the skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive digital economy.
Our participation reflects Landsat’s continued commitment to Uganda’s national development agenda. Through mentorship, knowledge transfer, innovation, and workplace exposure, we are helping bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice while contributing to the creation of a highly skilled workforce.
We look forward to welcoming apprentices into our teams, nurturing the next generation of professionals, and playing our part in creating sustainable employment opportunities that drive innovation and economic growth in Uganda.
